In the past 25 years, the Tiny Tim events have raised over $821,000 in support of area organizations who share our interest in healthy communities and a high quality of life. To view a historical listing of Tiny Tim funding recipients, click here.

Proceeds from the 2011 events will go to:

  • St. Clare Health Mission, which provides free healthcare in our community to people less fortunate. The clinic is staffed by volunteer doctors, nurses, social workers, medical laboratory technicians, and community volunteers. Funding will go to both La Crosse and Monroe County clinics.
  • WAFER Food Pantry—WAFER provides food to over 1,700 families from La Crosse County every month. Funding will be applied towards the purchase of reach-in coolers, allowing them to stock more nutritious, perishable items and will significantly reduce their energy costs.
  • Franciscan Healthcare Foundation—Funding will support the “It’s Essential” campaign for a new department of emergency medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System in Sparta. This facility provides medical services around the clock to residents of Sparta, surrounding communities, and nearby Fort McCoy.
  • Franciscan Healthcare Auxiliary Programs—Funds will be used to support select Franciscan Healthcare Auxiliary programs
  • Bluff Country Family Resources—A special raffle will be used to purchase supplies to enhance Bluff Country Family Resources’ Teen Dating Violence Prevention Curriculum. The program reaches out to youth and parents in efforts to reduce and eliminate interpersonal violence and the health concerns that are caused by victimization.

Interested area agencies may contact the Volunteer Office at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse at (608) 392-9766 or click here for a funding application (PDF) to be considered for future years.
